What we do
We work with busy homeowners to design thoughtful and elegant gardens inspired by coastal landscapes. Delivered with professional expertise we approach each project with consideration to the surrounding architecture, environment and most of all the needs of the people who will use the space. Based on the south coast, we specialise in resilient coastal gardens that draw on a broad palette of plants and materials to create landscapes that are resilient, contextually grounded, and designed to bring long‑lasting beauty and enjoyment to our clients.

tim rea
BSc, (LBE) Dip (GD) RHS Level 2
Tim grew up in the New Forest on the south coast where the surrounding landscapes first inspired his interest in horticulture. After gaining a degree in Land Based Enterprise and early experience in commercial horticulture he went on to build a successful career in music; composing for TV, performing and teaching. As a lifelong gardener, wildlife enthusiast and all round lover of the outdoors it was inevitable that Tim would return to the garden industry. After establishing a gardening business and completing RHS training he gained extensive experience working for clients on exposed coastal plots along the south coast of Dorset and Hampshire. Tim then went on to study Garden Design at Sparsholt College where he graduated with Distinction. His design skills led him to contribute to the 2026 RHS Chelsea show garden ‘Wash Day Hues’.
Tim now uses his experience and creativity to design enduring landscapes whilst further developing his interest in designing for coastal conditions.
